Midlife is defined as the period of life beginning from the age of 35-40 and extending to the age of 60–65 years. This age range covers the late reproductive to late postmenopausal stages of reproductive aging in women. There are several health conditions that peak or exacerbate during midlife such as fibroids and consequent hysterectomies, migraine, and systemic lupus erythematosus. Research on women's midlife health has provided critical insights on issues such as bone loss, osteoarthritis, adverse changes in lipid profiles, diabetes, etc., which may begin or accelerate during the midlife period. Midlife is a vulnerable window for an important subset of gynecologic and hormone-sensitive conditions. This book elucidates the concepts and innovative models around prospective developments in relation to women's midlife health. Different approaches, evaluations, methodologies, and advanced studies on this area of study have been included in it. This book will serve as a reference to a broad spectrum of readers.
